Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Elli found a cute little cafe literally right up the road from us. So we had no choice but to try it out tonight. The smoothies are fabulous and cheaper than Emerald Smoothie, wahoo! They are sweetened with Turbinado instead of sugar, sounds healthy to me =) I got a wrap that I probably would not get again, not worth 7 bucks. However Elli's sandwich was really delicious. Oh and the smoothies were hhhuge! so they were worth the money. the girl who helped us was super cute and friendly, we decided we should probably be her friend but didn't know how to approach that in an unawkward way so we decided we would think how to be better at making friends. We also saw multiple attractive men walk in (and in the drive through) Which means it's definitely a great hangout place. We will probably return for the smoothies!

Ah'sya
The very first place we actually tried when we decided we needed to taste new things was Ah'sya. It's a Vietnamese restaurant hidden behind Texas Roadhouse. It's delicious. We were so pleased we have actually cheated and gone to this restaurant more than once, before we have even tried all the other ones in St. George. I have never tasted Vietnamese food so it was a refreshing new change. They put mint and peanuts in almost every single dish. It's similar to Thai food. There egg rolls and spring rolls are soooo good. However, Elli hated the spring rolls, keep in mind she does not like most things ;) especially vegetables. the fried rice is her favorite, I'd have to agree it is very good. After eating the food I feel completely satisfied and not too full or disgusted like many restaurants. The man who owns it does everything himself. He is very fast and waits on every table, I have never seen another waiter or waitress. Hes super friendly and makes top quality food for his customers.

Paula's Cazuela
Today we went to Paula's! we knew exactly where it was. We thought ;) but... we ended up turning a street to soon and adventured through a cute little neighborhood with all kinds of Chinese gnomes in their yards. Eventually we found it, and we are glad we did. The salsa is the perfect hotness for me (i'm a whimp when it comes to hot things) and super tasty even for Elli who likes things on fire. The food was delicious =D we'd have to rate it better than Cafe Rio and similar in price range. Our waiter was really nice and they were very fast. I got Fajita's which we agreed were better than Elli's choice, Paula's special Burrito. Next time she will get chicken. We didn't finish our food cause there was so much and left over Mexican food is no bueno. But we had more than enough. The waitress got a good tip and we were on our way. I think I recognized the hostess, and she acted a little bit like she knew me and wish she didn't. However, Elli thinks she just isn't a very friendly person. One more checked off the list.
This all started with the phonebook. who would have known that all the restaurants are all conveniently located in one spot, the phonebook. It is actually used occasionally in this Google ruled world ;) Elli had a great idea, le'ts try every single restaurant we have never been to, is around 250... minus 50. I, Mckena, was quickly convinced. And so we start our Journey... slowly ofcourse, since we are poor college students (this could take a very long time). Anyhow, because we are taking the time to try all of them we decided we must share with the world =)
